Purpose of the Role:
To drive product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for Solar Kit Solutions, including Solar Modules, Li Ion Batteries, and Inverters. The incumbent will ensure the right product-market fit by aligning customer needs, technology trends, and channel partner inputs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the product roadmap for Solar Kit Solutions.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and customer research to identify product opportunities.
Define specifications and USPs of solar kits with optimal configuration (solar module + battery + inverter).
Liaise with sourcing, R&D, and technical teams for product development and improvement.
Set pricing strategy and coordinate with sales and finance for margin management.
Provide product training and support to channel sales teams.
Monitor product performance and lifecycle, recommending phase-outs or upgrades.
Coordinate product certifications and compliance. Measures of Success:
Successful launch of solar kits within timelines.
Market share growth in target segments.
Contribution to topline and gross margin.
Partner/channel satisfaction with product support and training.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA preferred.
6-10 years of experience in product management, preferably in solar, battery, or power electronics domain.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of channel sales.
