As the Product Manager - Ocean Freight, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Ocean Freight product strategy, ensuring its alignment with the overall business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy and Development:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Ocean Freight division, considering market trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements.

- Identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

2. Market Analysis and Positioning:

- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.

- Define and implement effective positioning strategies to maximize market share and profitability in the Ocean Freight sector.

3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of the Ocean Freight product strategy.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Shipping Lines, CHA, customs authorities, and regulatory bodies.

4. Financial Management:

- Develop and manage the budget for the Ocean Freight product division, ensuring financial objectives are met.

- Analyze market and competition and strategize pricing plans accordingly.

- Analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed.

5. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customs requirements, and internal quality standards for all Ocean Freight operations.

- Implement measures to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

- Proven track record of at least 6 years in a leadership role within the Ocean Freight or Freight forwarding industry.

- In-depth knowledge of global Ocean freight operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
