Roles and Responsibilities Job Purpose
1. To support business development for the department by product development, business initiatives and regular interaction with sales team. 2. To coordinate work between various teams and supporting them with required analysis/MIS in order for them to achieve the overall business objectives 3. Process improvements, ensuring ongoing training, digital requirements and roll outs 4. Business Analytics for improvisation of income, identifying business potential, cost reduction for the department. 5. Preparing and releasing the RM scorecards which supports the business momentum and appraisal system. 6. Support the management in all activities related to Key Objectives, Business plans, and implementation strategies decided 7. Drive team for TPP business of General Insurance and Life insurance for the department and design contests and rewards for the team for meeting business objective 8. Identifying opportunities of Digitisation and STP and work towards development of it from BTG / IT / Vendor and implement the same.
Job Responsibilities(JR): Process and Product development and monitoring of various initiatives
Support strategies and business initiatives for ECG Support various One Bank Initiative for the Group Reports analysis and reports to be submitted to BH and GH regarding growth and profitability as per plan Income and other reports consolidation and reports to be submitted to BH New Product & Processes development Tracking/ Monitoring project progress end to end. Income and cost analysis for the department Product marketing across Channel and Campaign and marketing analytics Analytics and Inputs to Sales Team and understanding on market Dynamics Project Management- Process Improvement and Strategic projects Budgeting/Variance Analysis etc Manpower requirement analysis and discussion with product head for proposing to fincon. Policy and Sales Process Policy level discussions with credit and implementation of the same Drawing up of Process for implementation of policy under discussion with relevant stakeholders like credit, ops, audit etc Tracking of CRM calls and entire sales process on # of calls done by RM, Joint calls %, NTB calls % etc Ensuring improvement in sales process by the team Doing a dip checks on the quality of calls and highlighting to the team for improvement and management for appropriate action. Strategy & Initiatives: Help in formulating plans & preparing budgets for the department across all business parameters & key objectives. Formulating strategy and business initiatives for the department on a pan India basis - Budgeting Administering said strategy and initiatives to the team for effective implementation of the same. RM Productivity Tracking
Matching staff list with RMs/SMs on board, vacant positions, report on new files done by RMs & SMs as per benchmark Reporting of RM/SM productivity to Supervisors Designing & Launching contest on new files during the year to ensure RM SM productivity. It also involves declaring contest results on a timely basis
Key Objective and Cross sell business Ensuring penetration of the and development of volumes for the department with respect to the following initiatives of the Bank: (a) Salary (b) Key Officials (c) TON and CMS (d) Migration Interacting with TPP product team and drawing up of yearly plans and strategy to drive the business Ensuring reduction of insurance pendency by taking consolidated quotes from GI teams & doing centralized debits for insurance premium collection. Guide business team & provide resolution on insurance related issues by liasoning with Insurance ops, Insurance company & TPP as and when required. Insurance expiry data provided to RM/SM for arranging quote and booking business and reducing the housekeeping risk.
Complaints and Housekeeping
Ensure housekeeping is in order by weekly tracking and publishing report on overdue deferrals, pending intraday entries to the team for necessary action Weekly Tracking of pendency for end use monitoring of high value transactions Ensure the department is in compliance with the regulatory requirements with respect to various items such as Revised CA Circular Guidelines, Re-KYC, Updation of Beneficial owners, etc. Tracking of other items pertaining to compliance such as clearance of pending shipping bills for EDPMS, IDPMS, submission of Udayam certificate for PSL classification, or any other item as may be identified from time to time Publishing a weekly report to the GH and subsequently to the entire team on department’s compliance across various parameters along with guidance and actionable received from GH on way forward Entire complaint management by interacting with stakeholders and guiding the team on closure of account Ensuring the complaints are closed in time and escalations are minimal. TAT monitoring and management Working with ops on various housekeeping items and following up with team for controlling the same within the acceptable levels. Business and Branch Channel
Preparation of Business information, Disbursements, analysis on acquisition of new business and enhancements for business growth such as cities initiative, Small MNC’s, PSU Bank’s initiatives etc Managing Branch channel related work for growth and tracking of business. Working towards adding new channels Preparation of Internal & Branch Budget for FY basis achievement in previous years, branch projection on Portal, trend in achievement, etc. Managing Branch LG and LC, Lead management, ABND (Approved but not Disbursed) tracking for conversion to business Overview of leads generation and conversion ratio Resolving CRM related queries Preparation, Publishing & keeping track of Branch Target vs Achievement Analysis of Branch performance viz a viz achievement, generation of leads by Brs etc
Marketing activities
Working with Marketing team for digital campaigns, leaflets, mailers to customers for information, business potential etc, managing website contents and various internal communications for RM motivation and cross function business development.
HNW Scorecard data reporting and Query resolution Preparing data for HNW RM income credit PAN India for new & enhancement business done Reconciling CRM disbursed cases with Business done for the month by manual name search & incorporating correct lead numbers for disbursed cases Liaising with ECG RMs/SMs for correct/new lead numbers in case the disbursed lead has been updated as Not Doable, this is to ensure that correct HNW RM gets the credit Reconciling the monthly data with month on month new cases data and reporting credit for only enhanced cases. Resolving queries related to HNW income credit Pan India. Designing Scorecard and getting the same prepared and releasing to the team Designing of scorecard, proposing changes to ensure it aligns to the business objectives. Taking approvals from HR and Fincon for implementation Collation of data required for preparation of scorecard. Preparation of scorecard and publishing to the entire team along with supervisory scorecard averages. To design the scorecard and ensuring that the same is understood by the entire team
MIS & Analysis
Quantitative analysis of defined business plans vs actual performance of regions Validation of reported figures of performance vs budget across the 15 product categories identified by the Bank. Account Profitability Report(APR) analysis, Business Division Profitability Report (BDP) Analysis, coordination with Finance department for any required corrections Preparing weekly asset and liability trackers required to monitor the performance to the team against the monthly projections Preparing various data cuts as and when required for various reviews & meetings Preparing decks/presentations for various senior level meetings/reviews tracking of contracts to ensure correct mapping and income flow to department Management of deferrals and ensure clearance of deferrals on regular basis MIS coordination, periodical follow ups for deferrals and delinquency resolution To prepare necessary MIS for reviews/VC. Coordination with various stakeholders
Coordination with external agencies, One point of contact for RM's with respect to documentation, limits & liaising with internal departments. Coordination with internal (LSS, Legal, Audit, Credit) and external (Legal, valuation authorities, stock auditors, Clients) Customers. Completion of mortgages which includes liaising with internal team, external /empaneled advocate and lawyer for obtention of Title search report and valuation report and basis Title search report a and Valuation report, clearance of mortgage formats and sign off from customer end CRM lead management and Coordination with retails branches for conversion of leads given to /from branches Coordinating with RMs for reports like call report, CRM leads, CRISIl/ICRA leads, collection of processing fees for limits disbursed and one point of contact for with respect to documentation, limits & liaising with internal departments Cross function coordination with Trade finance, Internal Audit, FinCon, External lawyers, Valuers, Stock auditors, Credit, Clearing/CMS team, Retail Branches. Audit related requirements - Internal Audit, Credit & External Audit. (reply to reports circulated, collating of information sought by auditors) Coordination with external agencies- Lawyer for obtaining legal opinion, value for property valuation of collateral offered , auditor for stock audit/form 8 preparation/filing of form's with ROC ).
