Minimum Qualification

Bachelors Degree in engg - Mechanical Engineer is a MUST ;

PGDBM/MBA in Marketing

• Must be well versed with all facets of Product Management - right from idea conception to successful product launch. Must be a complete hands on person.
• Liaison with the Product Engineering Team & production to develop product prototype, test market the product before it\'s launch
• Should be able to handle New Product Developments and Product Localizations.
• Develop MarCom tools viz. product brochures, technical papers, etc. This also includes understanding competition products and developing a docket that differentiates us from competition.
• Initiate and arrange Product seminars / clinics / training programs.
• Co Ordinate with Sales & Marketing staff with OPW offices outside of India
• Interact with OPW plants viz. Product Managers, QC Dept., Customer support cells Distributors, OEMs
• Regular update of information / data base on competitors\' products / services
• Assist Sales Dept in Sales promotion of new products, concepts to Oil Cos, Govt organizations, NGOs
• Liaison with Govt, Non Govt agencies associated with retail up gradation plans in Petroleum / Gas distribution
• Interact regularly with HQ for information on market trends, new developments, customer expectations , completion etc.
• Assist Service Dept in sending proper feedback on customer complaints and analysis
• Interact with operating level people on regular basis and help them in obtaining solutions to their problems
• Should be prepared for extensive domestic travel domestic & international travel (if the need arises), whenever required.
• Assist in pre- tendering activities / making quotations, whenever required
• Keep company Product Certifications, Testimonials updated.
