Job Description


Objectives and Responsibilities :

- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company\'s overall goals and objectives.

- Conduct market research, user surveys, and competitor analysis to identify user needs, market trends, and opportunities for product differentiation.

- Define and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features, enhancements, and content strategies to align with business goals.

- Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into user stories, wireframes, and design specifications.

- Lead the agile development process, ensuring the timely delivery of product features while maintaining high quality and usability standards.

- Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve product features based on user needs and preferences.

- Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate cricket news content, match updates, analysis, and feature articles.

- Optimize content presentation and user engagement by working closely with the design team to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

- Monitor user behavior, engagement metrics, and user feedback to identify areas for content improvement and drive user retention.

- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to identify opportunities for monetization, such as advertising, sponsorships, subscriptions, or partnerships.

- Analyze revenue and performance metrics to identify and implement strategies for business growth and revenue optimization.

- Ensure the seamless integration of monetization strategies within the product without compromising the user experience.

- Utilize analytics tools and data analysis to track key product metrics, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions for feature prioritization and optimization.

- Conduct A/B testing, user surveys, and user research to gather insights and validate hypotheses, supporting evidence-based product decisions.

- Continuously monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and user behavior to identify new opportunities for product innovation.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including editorial, design, engineering, and marketing teams, to ensure effective communication and alignment of product initiatives.

- Work closely with executives and stakeholders to provide regular updates on product development progress, milestones, and key performance indicators.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, business administration, journalism, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

- Proven experience as a product manager or similar role in a digital media, news, or content-driven platform.

- Passion for cricket and a strong understanding of the game, players, tournaments, and fan expectations.

- Experience with agile development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in leveraging analytics tools and data-driven decision making to drive product improvements and optimize user experiences.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving product-related challenges.

- Familiarity with content management systems, SEO best practices, digital publishing, and emerging trends in the digital media and sports industries.
