The Product Manager shall be responsible for driving the successful execution of product strategies across multiple product lines. This role focuses on backlog prioritization, roadmap execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, customer-centric products.
The Product Manager will work closely with Business Analysts (BAs), Scrum Masters, and Development-QA Teams to align business goals with technical execution. Additionally, this role involves receiving guidance from the Senior Management and collaborating with the Product Review and Approval Committee (PRAC) to ensure alignment with the company's strategic product vision.

Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Execution
Collaborate with Senior Management, the Product Review & Approval Committee (PRAC), and the Product Mentor to translate high-level business goals into actionable product roadmaps for all product lines.
Work with Business Analysts to prioritize and manage product backlogs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer needs.
Implement Analytics / AI-led innovations in product workflows to enhance decision making, efficiency, and customer experience under the guidance of the PRAC.
Define and manage KPIs to measure the success of product features and overall product delivery.
Backlog Management and Delivery
Oversee and guide the refinement of user stories, ensuring requirements are clear, actionable, and aligned with business priorities.
Collaborate with Scrum Masters (SCM) to ensure smooth sprint execution and address blockers impacting delivery timelines. Where no Scrum Master exists, play the role of the SCM for delivering effective sprint outcomes.
Partner with QA and development teams to ensure features meet quality standards before release.
Conduct post-launch reviews from customers and client-facing teams to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as the primary point of contact between business leadership, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and expectations.
Take ownership of tactical decisions related to product delivery and cross-functional alignment, while escalating strategic decisions to the PRAC as needed.
Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to provide updates on progress, gather feedback, and incorporate changes into the roadmap.
ISO Compliance & Governance
Define and implement Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) processes for product management, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
Maintain documentation for ISO audits and oversee corrective actions to address any non-compliance.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth execution of ISO compliant processes.
Drive a culture of quality and security by reinforcing ISO principles across product management workflows.
Vendor Management
Manage relationships with outsourced vendors for software development and QA, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
Monitor vendor performance, resolve conflicts, and maintain documentation for vendor contracts and evaluations.
Collaborate with stakeholders and Business Analysts to communicate requirements and deliverables to vendors effectively.
Identify opportunities to optimize vendor costs without compromising on quality or timelines.
Mentorship and Leadership
Work with the Product Mentor & PRAC to develop strategic thinking, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership skills, positioning oneself for senior leadership roles.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across teams.
Mentor and guide Business Analysts in requirement gathering, user story creation, and stakeholder communication.
Training & Enablement
Oversee the delivery of product trainings for internal staff and customers on existing and new product features.
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions through Business Analysts to ensure team members and end-users understand how to use and benefit from product features.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop appropriate training materials or guides.
Project Cost & Budgetary Control
Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to approved cost estimates.
Collaborate with stakeholders to track expenditures, identify cost overruns, and take corrective actions to stay within budget.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining product quality and delivery timelines.
Provide regular budgetary reports to Senior Management, highlighting risks, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
Continuous Improvement
Drive retrospectives and process reviews to identify improvement areas in product delivery and workflows.
Stay updated with industry's best practices in product management and Agile methodologies, implementing them where applicable.
Leverage data insights to refine product priorities and improve delivery outcomes.
Qualification / Skill-sets
Graduates / Professional Degree-holders / Post Graduates desirous of a Management and Leadership career in Product Design & Innovation.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in Software Product Design / Innovation / SDLC with at least 3 years of experience in Product Development & Management from a product-based company.
Minimum experience of 1+ years in Leadership and Team Management is preferred.
Key Skills: Proven expertise in product lifecycle management, backlog prioritization, and roadmap planning.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaboration tools like Jira.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with meticulous articulation of thoughts on paper.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to leverage customer and data insights for decision-making.
Sound knowledge of vendor management and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Strategic thinking with attention to detail and a passion for product innovation.
Experience in budget management and project cost control.
Added Advantage Qualification / Skill-sets
Pursued Certifications like CSPO / PSPO / SCRUM Master.
Basic understanding of Banking / Financial Technology domain OR Prior experience in designing / developing Banking / Financial Technology Software Products.
Prior experience in Analytics / AI-led innovations in product workflows.
Hands-on experience with ISO compliance, QMS/ISMS processes, and documentation.
Experience in managing multiple product lines simultaneously.
