Job Description

Product Manager - Only from Series A & Series B funding Startups - for leading Life Insurance Company (Hybrid Model) in Mumbai.

- Design short, mid and long-term strategies for product development that are in sync with the Chief Product Officer vision for the organization

- Define targets for the department broken down into clear objective targets for all team members

- Provide direction to the team & personally drive efforts to ensure targets for the department are met consistently

- Prepare & present department budgets

- Drive cost efficiencies to ensure overall profitability of the department & the organization

- Manage the product development team & ensure clearly defined objectives, timelines & other goals are communicated to each & every member of the department

- Provide professional guidance, support & training to direct reporting in team members

- Design creative monetary & non-monetary strategies to drive team members to achieve individual & departmental goals while keeping an eye on cost objectives

- Conceptualize new strategies & ensure successful roll-out of products

- Engage with & maintain excellent relations with top management, technology team, other partnerships & alliances with the objective to expand business revenue streams

- Engage closely with our operations, business development, finance & all other internal teams: provide them with suggestions for enhancements that will drive business growth, process efficiencies, improve communication and drive overall revenue & growth objectives

- Manage inter & intra-department coordination to ensure timely implementation & delivery of dependencies

- Analyse market trends, & provide critical market intelligence to Chief Product Officer to (re)design organization strategies

- Drive efforts for continuous process improvement

- Ensure timely & accurate reporting by all team members

- Ensure compliance with organization policies by all team members

Essential conditions:

- Minimum of 5 years\' experience in product management in India (mandatory)

- Experience of directly engaging with C-level executives
