Job Title : Product Manager - Electronics & New Product Development

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the end-to-end development of new electronic products. The role involves managing product design, 2D and 3D modeling, plastic mold design, and ensuring proper PCB fitment within ABS plastic enclosures. The candidate will coordinate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective products on time.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Management

Lead the complete product lifecycle from concept, design, prototyping, testing, and mass production Define product specifications, technical requirements, and development timelines Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of projects

Design & Engineering

Oversee

2D drawings and 3D CAD designs

for electronic products and enclosures Review and validate

plastic part designs

, especially ABS plastic housings Manage and approve

mold design and mold development

for plastic components Ensure

DFM (Design for Manufacturing)

and

DFA (Design for Assembly)

principles are followed

PCB & Mechanical Integration

Review and verify

PCB layout fitment

within plastic enclosures Ensure correct alignment of PCB, connectors, buttons, LEDs, displays, and other components Coordinate with electronics and mechanical teams to resolve fitment or tolerance issues

Quality & Compliance

Ensure products meet quality standards, performance requirements, and safety regulations Conduct design reviews, prototype evaluations, and pre-production validations Support troubleshooting during pilot and mass production

Vendor & Manufacturing Coordination

Work with tooling vendors, PCB manufacturers, and assembly partners Monitor mold trials, PCB assembly, and production readiness Support cost optimization and supplier selection

Key Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of

electronic product development

Experience with

2D & 3D CAD tools

(SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar) Good understanding of

plastic materials

Experience with

plastic mold design and injection molding processes

Strong understanding of

PCB design basics, PCB assembly, and mechanical fitment

Knowledge of

tolerances, thermal considerations, and enclosure design

Project & Management Skills

Strong project management and multitasking abilities Ability to manage timelines, costs, and technical risks Experience working with cross-functional teams Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Communication & Leadership

Clear communication with engineering, manufacturing, and management teams Ability to document product requirements and technical specifications Vendor and stakeholder coordination skills

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, or related field)

3+ years of experience in

electronic product development or product/project management

Experience in consumer electronics, industrial electronics, or similar sectors is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
