Job Summary: The purpose of the role is to lead the business and manage sales for specific categories and achieve the gross profit target to support the growth of Speciality chemicals business unit of UPL Limited. This would be a client facing role. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for managing sales responsibility of Speciality Chemical International Business, including sales strategy, plan, and implementation to achieve Speciality Chemical Business Unit\'s objective to grow exponentially. S/he will ensure short, mid, and long-term volume and profitability targets are achieved and required resources are in place. JOb Responsibilities: Conceptualizing product marketing strategies to differentiate products and articulate the implementation in competitive marketplace. Working out product pricing strategies at global / local level with active management of price-volume Undertaking product promotion in co-ordination with sales / technical support Should have excellent analytical skills and ability to view the business situation comprehensively. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: We would need basic degree in Chemical Engineering and post graduate degree specialising in Marketing Management. Industry experience of around 5 years in sales, marketing, business development with minimum 2 years in Product Management role. Should be exposed to the activities related to Product Management responsibility. Experience of working with teams in a fast paced, high-growth focused, dynamic and a hands-on work environment. Have a strong solution focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions. Team player with an energetic, can-do personality, capable of building strong internal and intercompany relationships is crucial High comfort level working with senior Indian and International executives. Excellent analytical and presentation skills. LOCATION: Mumbai, India KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Business Acumen: The individual in this role must understand business priorities and translate them into sales agenda that supports the business as it grows. Results Orientation: Strong capability in focusing on tasks and results to achieving goals, solving problems, maintaining productivity, and making fast decisions by using a critical thinking approach. Influence: Success in this role will require partnership & collaboration through influence with clients and internal stakeholders to execute the Sales priorities. Project Management - Plan and schedule work according to changing priorities designs and maintains effective systems and processes for managing work. Ability to multi-task and project manage in a global matrixed environment.
