Product manager is responsible for implementing product strategy, supporting research, assignment and release of parts for regional vehicle applications to ensure maximum revenue and compliance to fit form and function that meets or exceeds OE specifications for specified part categories.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement regional product strategy and develop regional product platform to ensure maximum application coverage and revenue for the assigned region using available data sources in line of regional market needs for quality, pricing, features and benefits
Conduct OE part number research and prioritize high potential applications to applicate
Identify sourcing partners and collaborate with sourcing team to validate sourced parts
Collaborate with MDM and item release team to set up new part information
Participate in quality and validation testing of product line parts
Collaborate with catalog function to develop regional product coverage reports and customer communications
Conduct periodic reviews and manage critical revenue, coverage and margin KPIs
Maintain understanding of prevailing market trends in the related categories in the region
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of experience combined product management, engineering or research, ideally in the automotive aftermarket or industrial distribution.
Expert in reading engineering drawings and BOM documents
Proven track record in process improvement, project management, managing new product releases and product launches.
Product Knowledge
Familiarity with automotive aftermarket, parts distribution, or adjacent sectors (e.g., industrial goods, ecommerce B2B/B2C) is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of product and catalog management tools

Change management experience, particularly in transitioning from decentralized to centralized models.
