This includes the development of our digital product offerings using Agile methodology and the delivery of products which bring tangible value to our customers across our platform including - web, mobile apps, and data feeds. In this role you will work with different business functions such technology and Data Integration to refine and execute upon a customer-centric roadmap using the Agile/Scrum framework. The Team : The S&P Global Platts Digital Platform & Machine Delivery Team are a creative, agile groups of experts who collaborate with commodity vertical product managers to drive innovation and evolution in digital platforms, mobile platforms, machine delivery mechanisms and user experience. We are now looking for a manager to help the group executing on web platform product roadmap. What we\'re looking for: You have a passion for \'getting things done\' with highest standards. You are client-oriented: customers over features, state of art experience over legacy constraints. You leverage on your analytical skills to deliver creative yet pragmatic solutions. You are naturally curious with a passion for discovering and implementing modern/innovative technology and your technical skills ( SQL & NoSQL DB, VBA, API, Tableau, JavaScript libraries HTML, CSS) are top notch. You can interact with stakeholders from different background (product, technology, analysts) delivering a consistent message of digital innovation based on sustainable execution. Responsibilities: Product Lifecycle: Contribute to the technical web platform roadmap on the following areas: trading data visualization, analytics data visualization, real-time presentation of data, search capabilities , alert ing capabilities to name a few. Be ready to jump in on on - going workstreams and make a difference Guide technology teams to execute on platform roadmap using your sound technical and project management skills within a Scaled Agile Framework Write effective user stories and act as Product Owner when required to provide the business vision and direction to Agile development teams Create, maintain , and prioritize product backlog according to business value and/or ROI Present web platform achievements to internal stakeholders in the form of demos , roadshows, training videos Analyze and prioritize valuable customer feedback and turn them into effective product enhancements About you: Qualifications Being held accountable for execution, tangible deliverables and measurable success are common in your past. You can demonstrate experience of successful delivery on scope, in time, and on budget. 2-4 years product management experience as a Product Manager in system design, product management and agile software development preferably at a commodity information, utility, oil/gas, or financial technology company Strong customer mindset with demonstrated ability to engage directly and honestly with customers on all issues and deliver positive experience by creating a partnership mentality Strong presentation skills, entrepreneurial mindset High technical literacy with real time delivery platforms and toolsets with understanding of core solution differences Experience with current web standards-based HTML, CSS, React, and interactive tools such D3 or charting tool, or other JavaScript-based libraries An understanding of data in a complex enterprise system landscape, including data governance and quality Good understanding of new technologies that are now arising in the digital space like Big Data-Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning Experience with both Agile Scrum and Lean methodologies At S&P Global Platts, we provide the insights you make better informed trading and business decisions with confidence.
