The Position

If data could speak, it would say that the prevalence of weight stigma and discrimination is preventing people living with obesity from getting the care they need. At Novo Nordisk, we\xe2\x80\x99re flipping the script. As Product Manager, Obesity you\xe2\x80\x99ll be at the forefront of change and contribute significantly to pioneering new approaches and leading the way. You will plan and execute brand marketing strategies for the short and long term. You will conduct competitor and market analyses, evaluate market potential, analyze affiliate expectations, and prepare a medium-term marketing strategy and investment plan.

You will also be responsible to:

  • Develop and align with key stakeholders on the strategy for the promotion of the product and design its promotional mix
  • Conceptualize and design of marketing campaigns, liaise with medical professional bodies, track progress, and take corrective measures in order to ensure high RoI on activities
  • Conduct fieldwork for insight into activity implementation
  • Identify and test innovative promotional tools and drive collaboration together with agencies
Qualifications

We\xe2\x80\x99re searching for a collaborative, communicative, and driven manager who has a can-do attitude. You\xe2\x80\x99re also data driven, analytical and able to think out-of-the-box ready to challenge the status quo.
  • Graduate in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing or equivalent field
  • MBA degree in Business / Marketing from Premier B School
  • Experience of 5-7 years in Brand Management, core Marketing and Product Management
  • Fluency in oral and written English is a must
Moreover, to be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
  • Passion and experience with successful product launches, innovative promotional campaign creations and resonating execution
  • Ability to create momentum and work with internal and external stakeholder groups: sales, medical teams, KOLs and HCPs
  • Interest and gained knowledge of obesity therapy area, including methods of care, pharmaceutical products, key customers is desirable
  • High performer, ambitious and with pronounced negotiation skills
  • Experience in conference/large meeting related initiatives from planning to execution
About the department

~160 million people are estimated to be living with obesity in India, with <1% recommended to receive medical treatment. The prevalence of weight stigma and discrimination is preventing people living with obesity from getting the care they need. At Novo Nordisk, we\xe2\x80\x99re here to change that. Our aim it so debunk the stigma around obesity, spreading knowledge and building bridges to relevant resources.
