JOB DESCRIPTION - PMT (Product Management Team)

The PMT is responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies for assigned pharmaceutical brands. This role ensures brand growth by working closely with sales teams, medical teams, regulatory, manufacturing, and senior management. The PMT acts as the custodian of the brand and drives market share, profitability, and long-term positioning.

Key Responsibilities1. Brand Strategy & Planning

Develop annual and quarterly

brand plans aligned with company objectives.*
Conduct

market research, competitor analysis, and identify growth opportunities.*
Define

brand positioning, target audience, and unique value proposition.*

2. Marketing & Promotional Activities

Create

promotional inputs: visual aids, LBLs, brochures, digital materials, reminder cards, etc.*
Plan and execute

brand campaigns, CME programs, doctor engagement activities, and product launches.*
Work with agencies for

creative development and ensure timely delivery of materials.*

3. Sales Team Support

Provide

product training and scientific support to field force.*
Develop

sales communication, strategies, and brand messaging.*
Monitor field performance and support teams to achieve brand objectives.*

4. Product Lifecycle Management

Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement for

inventory planning and stock availability.*
Monitor

SKU performance, pricing strategy, forecasting, and margin analysis.*
Support new product development and

launch planning.*

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Liaise with

Medical Affairs for scientific content and clinical inputs.*
Coordinate with

Regulatory Affairs for label updates, approvals, and compliance.*
Work with

Finance for budgeting and cost management.*

6. Market Intelligence

Track

market trends, competitor activities, prescription behavior, and therapeutic area developments.*
Provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.*

Required QualificationsEducation

B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc. (Life Sciences), or related field.*

Experience

1-6 years of experience in PMT/product management in the pharmaceutical industry and freshers also can apply.*
Experience in specialty/acute/chronic segments is an added advantage.*

Skills

Strong understanding of

pharma marketing, brand management, and therapy areas.*
Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.*
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).*
Creativity in developing promotional materials.*
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.*

Pay: ₹15,086.00 - ₹30,841.53 per month
