a. Drive growth and market leadership of assigned cardiology brands through well-defined strategic and tactical marketing plans.
b. Identify opportunities for market development, therapy expansion, and lifecycle management within the cardiology segment, including differentiated positioning and unmet clinical needs.
c. Conduct in-depth competitor analysis, prescription audits, and market intelligence tracking to refine brand strategies and promotional campaigns.
d. Develop comprehensive annual brand plans and a long-term vision for the portfolio, focusing on line extensions, patient outcomes, profitability, and sustainable growth.
2. Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring
a. Analyze cardiology market data, prescription trends, and secondary sales using MS Excel and present actionable insights through effective PowerPoint presentations.
b. Track, control, and forecast promotional and marketing spends to ensure budget adherence and profitability of the cardiology SBU.
c. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as market share, growth indices, and ROI on promotional activities.
3. Field Force Engagement & Capability Building
a. Plan and conduct cycle meetings, sales conferences, and product briefings to ensure strong understanding and execution of marketing strategies by the field force.
b. Train the sales team on cardiology therapy knowledge, clinical evidence, product differentiation, and scientific promotion.
c. Collect and analyze regular feedback from the field force to identify market challenges, prescriber concerns, and competitive threats, and address them proactively.
4. Customer Development & Scientific Engagement
a. Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Key Business Leaders (KBLs), and cardiologists to gain insights into evolving therapeutic practices and unmet needs.
b. Develop and implement innovative customer engagement initiatives such as CMEs, advisory boards, speaker programs, and digital engagement platforms within cardiology.
c. Collaborate with medical and cross-functional teams to ensure ethical, compliant, and science-driven brand promotion.
