For more information, explore the opportunities in IEC at our today Role Purpose Summary: As a Software Testing Engineer - Intern, you will join a team of software developers to participate in the specification, design, testing, maintenance and implementation of software for life sciences Mass spectrometry instruments and allied products. This software, and these instruments a make a real, positive and strong impact on the lives of people across the globe. Role Purpose Summary: As P/E software tester, evaluate the functionality of the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instruments control software, being developed against set protocols and guidelines. Ensure the software quality and its intended functionality. Responsibilities To test the functionality of the software being developed with set protocols To report out the outcome of testing, raise and record bugs in DevOps. Timely closures on the work tasks assigned through DevOps and coordinate with the other testers and developers in team. Running Instrument test protocols for Factory Accept Testing / Instrument performance evaluation and Software use. Document test results, feedback on improvement areas of Software functionality etc . Other miscellaneous duties as assigned Candidate Educational & Professional Experience Requirement: Master\'s Degree in Analytical chemistry/Life Sciences /Bioinformatics/BioTechnology Good understanding on Analytical Instrumentation Techniques like Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry. Clear communication and ability to articulate observations as technical writeups. Basic understanding on the programming languages Preferable Good understanding of the Lab environment, Instrument working principles, instrument application knowledge (Method Building, Sample submission, Results evaluation etc) Good ability using Microsoft office tools like MS Word, Excel PPT.
