Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Current product support for genset application _ BIS (Before in Service) & AIS (After in service.) Plant product engineering to support assembly & production line. Plan & execute the DVPnR test plan at Genset OEM, plant & supplier facilities. Participate in prototype build of gensets. Design & development of control panel & wiring harness. Design and modify parts as per requirements. Analyzing the part level Validations Requirement and Design Validation Plan Preparation (DVP). Failure Analysis with supplier and cross functional teams. Assures product quality by validating prototype performance and ensuring it meet design requirements Owns problem resolution for moderately complex components, products, systems, subsystems or services with a greater degree of technical complexity and ambiguity with greater accountability. Provides independent execution of established work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge; engages with the improvement of systems and processes. Involves co-ordination with CFT like plant, field, product & program management, sourcing & supply continuity team. Contributes effectively toward team goals, exhibits influence within a work group and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role

Experience and Skill Required:

Experience Range: 1-5 Years Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or associated branches. Sound knowledge for Genset controller, genset functioning and sub-systems. Experience in testing and validation for Engine/Genset subsystems. Hands-on experience for test equipment's handling and test set up on the product. Experience in test data processing, management and report preparation. Basic Engineering fundamentals for Mechanical and Electrical subsystems. Strong soft personal skill i.e., team player, quick learner, ability to adapt quickly & effectively etc.
