Role Overview

We're looking for a

Product Documentation Expert

who can turn complex SaaS platform features and integration workflows into clear, user-focused documentation and engaging learning content. In this role, you'll create structured product documentation as well as

help videos, scripts, and visual content

that improve product adoption and customer experience.

You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and UX teams to maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation across the platform and deliver content that supports both internal teams and end users.

Key Responsibilities

Create, update, and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, integration workflows, API references, onboarding content, and release notes. Script and produce

help videos and walkthrough content

that explain product features and workflows in a simple, engaging way. Participate in Agile sprints and stand-ups to stay aligned with product development timelines and upcoming documentation deliverables. Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, and UX teams to gather technical information and translate it into clear and structured content. Organize documentation for easy navigation and discoverability, applying sound information architecture principles. Use visual aids such as screenshots, diagrams, and step-by-step instructions to enhance understanding. Manage internal and external documentation using tools like Wiki.js and Zendesk (Markdown and Visual Editor). Maintain editorial consistency across all documentation, help videos, and in-app content. Collaborate with the UX team to write clear tooltips, feature descriptions, and in-app help text. Keep all documentation and videos in sync with each product release to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience in technical writing or product documentation for SaaS platforms. Strong ability to write clear, structured, and accurate content for both technical and non-technical audiences. Hands-on experience creating user guides, integration docs, and release notes. Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) or similar B2B integrations is a plus. Proficiency in content management systems such as Wiki.js or Zendesk. Working knowledge of Markdown and HTML for documentation formatting. Ability to work collaboratively in Agile development environments. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a structured approach to content organization.
