Roles and Responsibilities

Support the mechanical design of new products from concept to launch.

Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using Solid works.

Develop prototypes and conduct functional tests to validate design concepts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, industrial design, and manufacturing.

Evaluate materials, manufacturing methods, and cost implications during the design process.

Support design reviews, DFMEA, and risk assessments.

Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure design intent is preserved during fabrication.

Maintain documentation according to engineering change control and regulatory standards.

Continuously improve design processes and contribute to IP generation.

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

6+ years of experience in product development or a similar role.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and cost optimization techniques.

Familiarity with market research techniques and consumer behavior in the Indian market.

Proficiency in product design software and tools.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to priorities tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

A creative mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to adapt to the company's culture effectively and lead other teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
