This role is for someone who wants to work directly with management, influence product strategy, and build products from idea to market, not just execute lab instructions.

You will have high freedom to experiment, develop, and innovate, access to real manufacturing, and the opportunity to shape an entire category of products -- from cleaners and flushes to high-performance lubricant sprays and specialty chemicals. We are looking for a hands-on Product Development Chemist to lead development of automotive aftermarket products, including:o Cleaners (Throttle body cleaner, carb cleaner, brake cleaner, APC, degreasers, etc.)o Flushes (Engine flush, radiator flush, injector cleaner, etc.)o Lubricant-based products (Chain lube, penetrants, anti-rust, multi-purpose sprays, etc.)o Aerosol and non-aerosol formats

This is a practical, lab-to-factory role with full responsibility from formulation to scale-up.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and benchmark auto care and lubricant formulationso Convert ideas and market requirements into commercial productso Handle raw material selection, formulation design, and cost optimizationo Conduct lab trials, performance testing, and stability studieso Lead pilot batches and production scale-upo Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issueso Prepare and maintain formulations, BOMs, batch manufacturing records, and technical documentationo Work closely with production, QC, and procuremento Continuously improve existing products for performance, reliability, and costo Support development of niche and high-performance specialty products

Who Should Apply

Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Formulation Science / Petroleum / Polymer or related fieldo 3+ years hands-on experience in auto care products, lubricants, industrial cleaners, or specialty chemicalso Strong practical knowledge of solvents, surfactants, lubricants, corrosion inhibitors, and additiveso Experience in aerosol formulations is a big pluso Comfortable working in a factory-linked R&D environmento Someone who enjoys building products, not just maintaining them
