We are seeking an exceptional AI-First

Product Designer

for a

contract

position at tryCoM AI. This is a critical role for someone who truly understands how to create compelling products in today's AI-first world and can transform complex AI capabilities into intuitive, user-friendly experiences. You will be responsible for redesigning and enhancing our product's user interface and experience, working closely with our founding team to create designs that make AI-powered social media marketing accessible and delightful for our users. As a contract designer working with our founding team, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape the visual and interaction design of a fast-growing AI platform, with the potential for future full-time opportunities based on performance and mutual fit. We need someone who can hit the ground running, understand our product vision quickly, and deliver high-quality design work within tight timelines. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where your design decisions will directly impact our path to $1M ARR. This role can be executed

remotely

or from our office at IITM Research Park, with flexible working arrangements to accommodate the contract nature.

Qualifications

Min. of

3-5 years of experience

in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing AI/ML product design or SaaS platforms. Deep expertise in

design thinking, user research, wireframing, prototyping,

and

visual design

. Proficiency in design tools such as

Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite,

and prototyping tools like

Framer

or

Principle

. Experience designing for

AI-powered products

or

complex data-driven applications

with a focus on making sophisticated functionality accessible. Strong understanding of

UX/UI principles

for web and mobile applications, particularly in the B2B SaaS space. Experience with

design systems, component libraries,

and maintaining consistency across multiple product touchpoints. Knowledge of

social media platforms

and understanding of content creation workflows is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders. A quick learner with an entrepreneurial mindset who can work independently and adapt to changing requirements. Someone who can start

Key Responsibilities

Redesign key user interfaces and flows for our AI-powered content marketing platform, focusing on

usability and visual appeal

. Create

wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes

that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows. Conduct

user research and usability testing

to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback from our existing 11+ beta customers. Develop and refine our

design system and component library

to ensure consistency across all product touch points. Design intuitive interfaces for complex AI features, making

AI-generated content creation

feel seamless and natural. Collaborate closely with our development team to ensure

design feasibility and proper implementation

. Create designs that work across multiple social media platforms (

Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter

) and their respective posting/analytics interfaces. Design

onboarding flows

that help users quickly understand and leverage our AI capabilities. Optimize existing designs for better

conversion rates and user engagement

. Work with the founding team to establish design principles that will guide future product development. Create

high-fidelity mockups

ready for development handoff with proper specifications and assets.

Nice to Have

Experience designing for

AI/ML products, chatbots, or content generation tools

. Familiarity with

motion design

and

micro-interactions

to enhance user experience. Understanding of

social media marketing workflows

and pain points faced by content creators and marketers. Experience with

A/B testing design variations

and data-driven design decisions. Knowledge of

accessibility standards

and inclusive design practices. Previous experience working with

startups or fast-growing companies

in a contract capacity. Basic understanding of

front-end technologies

(HTML, CSS, React) to better collaborate with developers.
