Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize and design modular furniture (beds, wardrobes, side tables, office desks, storage units, etc.) in line with Furnura's design philosophy. Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and renders for production and client presentations. Work closely with the engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Research global trends in furniture design, ergonomics, sustainability, and materials to bring innovation to Furnura's portfolio. Ensure designs align with

sustainability principles

and optimize for mass-premium production. Collaborate on prototyping, testing, and refining designs based on feedback. Maintain consistency with brand aesthetics while exploring bold, disruptive ideas.
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Product Design, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in furniture or interior product design (modular furniture preferred). Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar. Strong understanding of materials (wood, metal, laminates, fabrics) and manufacturing processes. Ability to translate abstract ideas into practical and visually appealing designs. Knowledge of sustainability practices in design and manufacturing is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
