Experience

: Min 3-5 years

:

1. Create product designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on


knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.


2. Making samples or working models by hand or using computerized


prototyping equipment


3. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative product material


and copy, and select style and size of


4. type


5. Confer with team to discuss and determine product design taking


part in specialist or multidisciplinary team meetings


6. Review final product and suggest improvements as needed.


7. Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them


with team or supervisors and making necessary changes.


8. Use computer software (as mentioned below) to generate new


prototype and products


9. Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for


team or supervisor


10. Maintain archive of product stock, images, photos, or previous work


products


11. Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for 3D


printer.


12. Prepare notes and instructions for workers who assemble and


prepare final layouts for 3D printing.


13. Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using


computer.


14. Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials,


products, or services.


15. Research new software or design concepts


16. Photograph layouts, using camera, to make layout of 3D prints for


supervisors or clients.


17. Sketching initial design ideas, identifying the suitability and availability


of material


18. Producing detailed, final hand drawings and specifications or,


more likely, using dedicated computer software (CAD) to produce


design specifications, including parts lists and castings


19. Apart from the above task, Institute expects your involvement and


support for the various promotional activities undertaken by the


institute.


20. You are expected to offer your services if required on


Sundays/holidays, for which compensatory off would be


considered.


Other responsibilities may be added as and when required during


the course of the year.
