Product Designer

Chennai - India

As a Staff Product Designer, you are a seasoned strategic Individual Contributor (IC) with a wealth of experience in delivering products that are both usable and desirable. You are a systems-thinker, able to grasp entire customer experiences and workflows. Leveraging human-centered design techniques, you skillfully identify and pursue opportunities for product enhancements. You are a trusted collaborator, effectively partnering with stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to shape and articulate the strategy and vision for your designated area.

Thriving in the face of large, complex problem spaces, you excel in providing clarity and alignment to teams. You\'re at ease with ambiguity and adept at working independently throughout the design process. Yet, you also embrace collaboration and regularly mentoring fellow designers, contributing to the growth and development of the design organization. Beyond your role with designers, you champion the discipline of design within the company, confidently discussing not only your work but also the broader impact of design on both the business and our customers\' experiences.

Your Impact:

• Clarify the business context of design work
• Lead end-to-end experiences spanning multiple teams
• Break large projects down to incremental units of value
• Recruit and hire a product design team
• Leverage experience to mentor and grow a design team
• Gather customer insight across the ecosystem
• Contribute to product vision and align stakeholders.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 5-10 years experience as an individual contributor
• 2+ years experience in a leadership or management role in product design
• Strong user experience and user interface design skills
• Proficiency in agile design processes and strategies
• Experience building, implementing and scaling design systems
• A proven track record of delivering products to customers
• Experience designing responsive web applications
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• A benefit mindset that values the interdependencies across people and teams

Desirable Assets:

• Experience designing marketing technology or other B2B software
• Experience in UX research and analysis
• Experience with DesignOps
• Experience recruiting and hiring designers
• Front-end development experience
