Key Responsibilities

Teach

Product Design

with a strong focus on

wood skills, materials, tools, and fabrication processes

Guide students through the

design process

: research, ideation, prototyping, making, and evaluation Foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving through hands-on learning Ensure

safe workshop practices

, tool usage, and maintenance Plan engaging lessons and assess student learning effectively Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to school exhibitions and events

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's/Master's degree in

Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, Architecture, or related field

NID graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong hands-on experience in

woodworking, joinery, and workshop tools

Experience in teaching, mentoring, or working with students (school or studio-based) Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills Passion for experiential, project-based learning
