About Cam Tools Industries Private Limited

Cam Tools is an automotive interior mould maker and Injection moulder offering solutions for complex tooling challenges and supply chains for many OEMs, Tier 1 and customers worldwide. We are developing moulds, and supplying plastic parts and sub-assemblies to the automotive industry, toy industry, engineering companies and medical industry.

We started another division CT toys which does contract manufacturing for the toy industry offering one-stop solutions to our customers. Thus, making us a unique all-in-one toy manufacturer. We are a highly motivated group of experts who take pride in every aspect of the product design, tooling and supply chain, working hard to bring out the best quality service at the right price at the right time.

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on analyzing key design features of products
2. Work on carrying out dimensional analysis of products
3. Work on reverse engineering
4. Identify opportunities for new products
5. Analyze how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences
6. Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners
7. Research materials and techniques
8. Sketch drafts on paper or digitally (for example, using CAD)
9. Use 3D modeling software to design products and components
10. Produce prototypes and test functionality
11. Improve the design of existing products
12. Gather feedback from product users
