Main Purpose of Job

Develop drawings and standards for 2-wheeler tires to meet product performance, meeting international standard with optimum product weight. Releasing of design within the lead time and correction, if required Product design keeping in view with future requirements and market dynamics

Main Responsibilities -

1. Benchmark Study and analysis

2. Tread Pattern & cavity design

3. Mold profile Drawing

4. Understanding of International Design Standards

5. Mold Accessories Design

6. Expert in Auto CAD, Catia V5, 3D modelling

7. Knowledge in Mold Repair and corrections.

8. Product Layout Preparation

9. Product drawing for product certification (ECE/INMETRO/etc.)

10. Good understanding and knowledge for designing 2W radial molds.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements -

Knowledge (Technical / Functional)

a: Sound knowledge in Tyre designing, Mold profile, pattern making, Product layout, product drawings etc.

b: Very Good knowledge on Tyre Design Standards like ETRTO, ITTAC etc.

Skills:

1. Auto CAD, Catia V5, 3D Modeling Compulsory

2. Planning & Analytical skills, Interpersonal skills, Communication skills, Action Orientation, Openness to Learning and Team player.

Qualifications -

Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science & Technology/ Chemical Engineering.

Experience -

More than 5+ years experience in Designing Tyres (especially 2-Wheeler / PCR segments)

Preference:

Worked in the 2-Wheeler segment will be an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
