Key Responsibilities:
Lead the
product design and development
process from concept to production.
Work on
ideation, concept generation, and 3D modeling
using SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools).
Perform
motion studies, kinematic and structural analysis
, and simulation-based validation of designs.
Handle
detailed design
, including components, assemblies, weldments, and sheet metal structures.
Apply
Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
and
Design for Assembly (DFA)
principles to ensure practical and cost-effective production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (fabrication, testing, sourcing) to refine and optimize designs.
Drive
continuous improvement and optimization
of design performance, weight, cost, and durability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in
SolidWorks
(Parts, Assemblies, Weldments, and Sheet Metal).
Experience in
kinematics, motion analysis, and mechanical simulation tools
.
Good understanding of
DFM principles
and fabrication processes (especially for welded and sheet metal parts).
Ability to take ownership of complete
product development lifecycle

Creative problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and optimization.
Bachelor's degree or higher in
Experience working on mobility products, vehicles, or mechanical systems with moving linkages.
