Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented, experienced, and detail-oriented Product Design Engineer to join our Engineering department. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical design skills, experience in drafting, and a deep understanding of product development and engineering processes. This role requires proficiency in creating 2D and 3D designs and drawings, focusing on sheet metal fabrications and mechanical/electronic products.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Drafting:

Create detailed 2D and 3D designs and drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor to meet production requirements. Ensure all designs are accurate, clear, and align with industry standards and company specifications.

Mechanical Design Expertise:

Apply strong knowledge of mechanical design basics and practices, particularly in sheet metal fabrications. Collaborate with the clients/engineering team to develop concepts, finalize designs, and produce prototypes

Product Development & Engineering Process:

Engage in the complete product development lifecycle, including concept, design freeze, sample making, and validation tasks for mechanical/electronic products. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

Project Management:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. Coordinate with production teams to support the manufacturing process and resolve any design-related issues.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough reviews of designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical specifications. Participate in the validation and testing of prototypes to verify design integrity and performance.

Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Detail-oriented and highly motivated individuals.

Nice to Have:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Finite Element Calculations & Analysis using ANSYS or Mathcad. Experience in technical content writing.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
