Design new engineering products, components, and systems from concept to production.

Create and revise detailed technical drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Conduct prototype testing and analysis to validate design performance and identify areas for improvement.

Research and stay updated on new technologies, industry trends, and innovative design solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, R&D, and quality control, to ensure designs meet requirements.

Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental considerations.

Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement necessary changes.

Maintain accurate design documentation, records, and technical specifications.

Present design concepts, prototypes, and project updates to customers and management.

Requirements and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Solid Edge). Strong understanding of engineering principles, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Excellent problem-solving, computational, and spatial reasoning skills. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
