Product Design Engineer -DE2
Molex continues to grow Engineering Staff and are looking for a talented Product Design Engineers interested in our Automotive connector group. If you are looking for a way to accelerate your career and be part of a great company, this may be the opportunity for you.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on our automotive solutions to support next generation automotive connector design, development, and product ownership.
Job Responsibilities:
Product Design:
Project Definition: Product scope, voice of customer, concept generation
Predictive Engineering: Executes DFMEA, Tolerance Analysis.
Detailed Design: Creates product models & drawings using GD&T methodology, plastic and sheet-metal part design
Design Verification, Product Validation:
Validation Plan: Develop test plans (DVP&Rs) to validate product performance and analyze test results using statistical methods
Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis utilizing structured problem-solving methods(8D)
Requirements:
Work Experience: 5-9 years product design experience
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent science degree
Preferred: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent science degree
Skills:
New product design process, Concept generation, DFMEA, GD&T, Tolerance analysis, DVPR, Plastic parts, Manufacturability, Problem solving.
