JOB DESCRIPTION Qualification- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech EC/EE Experience- 4+ years\' experience in product design and development of industrial led lighting or similar products. Candidate must have sound experience of mechanical and electronic parts integration, LED drivers/SMPS design, led selection and led array design, validation and reliability testing of led luminaire and electronic components. Candidate having knowledge of International & local regulatory, and compliance (Safety/Performance/EMC) standards (UL/IEC/CSA/BIS) is preferred. Exposure to complete product development life cycle, experience of working in global engineering environment, global manufacturing, project management, and co-ordination with cross functional teams, stakeholders is preferred. Knowledge of automation and smart lighting technology/protocols is an added advantage. Roles & Responsibilities- Duties Tasks LED Lighting product design and validation Design/prototype/validate the led drivers, led arrays Integration of electronic, mechanical, optical parts Generate new creative ideas & concept design Convert ideas/concepts into workable models/proof of concepts Good in analytical calculations Safety and performance testing of LED Luminaires Prepare detail designs, wiring drawings and Bill of materials Plan and conduct reliability testing of products Good to have design for EMI/EMC knowledge, filter design experience. Communication Communicate day-to-day work with technical leads, project in charge & team members Communicate with Business Unit & other department- sourcing, manufacturing for inputs discussions and deliverables release Participate and conduct project meetings with global team members Software Knowledge AutoCAD (Good to have) PCB design software (Good to have)
