PRODUCT AND TOOL DESIGNER FOR INJECTION MOULDING PRODUCTS.

We are

a top-tier manufacturer specializing in innovative Engineering Plastic products. We are dedicated to quality, efficiency, and technological advancement in the moulding industry.

Product & Tool Designer in the plastic injection molding industry, with experience in both product development and mold design, CAD software proficiency, and knowledge of injection molding processes and materials.

Relevant Degree/Diploma :

A Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience : 3

-5 years of experience in both product design and tool/mold design within the plastic injection molding industry is ideal.

CAD Software Proficiency :

Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Pro/E, CATIA, etc.) is essential.
Skills and Knowledge:

Product Design:

Experience in designing plastic injection molded parts, considering manufacturability, functionality, and aesthetics. Knowledge of different plastics and their properties. Familiarity with design for injection molding (DFIM) principles.

Tool/Mold Design:

Experience in designing injection molds, including mold layouts, core/cavity design, and cooling system design. Knowledge of mold materials and manufacturing processes. Ability to perform mold flow analysis and simulation.

Injection Molding Knowledge:

Understanding of the injection molding process, including machine settings, material flow, and cycle times. Familiarity with different types of injection molding machines and tooling.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills :

Ability to identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues.

Communication and Collaboration :

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and production personnel.
Additional Skills (Optional):

Mold Flow Simulation Software:

Experience with software like Moldex3D, Moldflow, or similar.

Knowledge of 3D Printing/Rapid Prototyping:

Familiarity with these technologies for creating prototypes and testing designs

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
