Job Title: Product Business Manager - Furniture, Consumer Products & AppliancesLocation: Nagpur, Mumbai and Bangalore Department: ProductReports To: Product Development HeadExperience Required: 8-10 yearsEducational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with MBA or PMP preferredAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and driven Product Business Manager to lead product/category management and new product introductions (NPI) for our collaborative furniture solutions. This role requires close coordination with sales, manufacturing, and product development teams to drive product strategy, lifecycle management, and overall category profitability.Key Responsibilities:Lead Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) - from ideation, market analysis, requirement gathering to launch and post-launch performance.- Collaborate with Key Account Managers, Branch Managers, and Sales Teams to drive category performance.- Conduct market analysis, identify trends, benchmark against competition, and recommend product improvements or new developments.- Lead NPI project approvals, manage product documentation (PDM), and oversee cross-functional project execution.- Monitor product category performance, identify underperforming SKUs, and develop action plans including cost optimization, pricing adjustments, redesigns, or product discontinuation.- Facilitate cross-functional coordination with Sales, Engineering, Costing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.- Conduct regular product training sessions for internal stakeholders.- Own and manage the product roadmap in alignment with customer needs and overall business strategy.Skills & Experience:- 8-10 years of experience in product management, category management, or product marketing.- Experience in furniture, consumer products, or appliances industries is preferred.- Proficient in PLM systems, cross-functional collaboration, and NPD processes.- Demonstrated leadership skills, with strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.- Excellent presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills.- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Key Competencies:- Leadership and change management- Business and customer orientation- Strategic and analytical mindset- Team building and cross-functional coordination- High level of ethics and cultural adaptabilityIf you are interested, please share your updated cv (ref:updazz.com)
