The Product and Applications Sales Specialist (PASS) for Light Microscopy (LM) is a highly skilled and technical pre-sales position that relies on strong technical expertise, consultative selling skills, and the ZEISS Sales Process (ZSP) to meet customer requirements and achieve individual targets.
The PASS for Light Microscopy (LM) will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical and application support for the ZEISS Light Microscopy portfolio, ensuring exceptional customer experience. The candidate should demonstrate technical and operational expertise in advanced motorized light microscope, Laser Scanning Confocal Microscopes, Structural Illumination and Lightsheet microscopes with related imaging software, preferably ZEISS.
The role involves active engagement in pre-sales activities, including technical consultations, product demonstrations, and workflow development, to drive funnel development and increase win probability. Additionally, the specialist must stay up to date with emerging technologies, market trends, and research advancements, playing a crucial role in the successful introduction of new products and solutions into the Indian market.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical consultation, application expertise, and live demonstrations to help customers select the right LM solutions. Increase WIN Probability: Enhance the success rate of active sales opportunities through strong technical engagement and value-based solution selling. Funnel Development: Identify and develop new opportunities through customer interactions, workshops, and collaborations with research and industrial partners. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in academia, research institutions, and industry to promote ZEISS LM solutions. Product & Workflow Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Advanced motorized light microscope, Laser Scanning Confocal Microscopes, including imaging techniques and biological sample preparation protocols with the use of fluorophores. Market & Technology Awareness: Stay updated on latest industry trends, emerging research applications, and competitive technologies. Post-Sales Support: Provide training, application support, and workflow optimization to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize instrument utilization. Collaboration: Work closely with sales, service, and product management teams to develop customized solutions that align with customer needs. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical background in Light microscopy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for engaging with customers to drive scientific and industrial advancements.

Requirements:Education - Masters or PhD in Physics/Biophysics or related fields. Work Experience - 1-5 years preferred
