JOB SUMMERY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor who combines strong leadership abilities with technical expertise in programming and automation. This role ensures smooth daily operations on the production floor while supporting process improvement through software, machine programming, or automated system enhancements.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Supervision

Oversee day-to-day production activities to meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Manage, train, and mentor production staff to ensure high performance and teamwork. Monitor workflow, allocate labor, and adjust schedules to meet production targets. Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve operational issues.

Programming / Technical Duties

Develop, edit, or troubleshoot machine programs (e.g., CNC, PLC, robotic systems, or internal software--depending on company needs). Support automation initiatives to improve productivity, accuracy, and process consistency. Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to implement control system updates or software changes. Analyze production data and use programming tools to optimize workflow and reduce downtime. Maintain documentation for programs, configurations, and equipment changes.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall production processes. Lead or participate in Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma activities. Recommend and implement technology upgrades or workflow improvements.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar leadership role. Hands-on experience with programming (PLC, CNC, robotics, Python, C++, or relevant languages/equipment). Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
