Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the procurement team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve optimal cost savings.
Oversee the entire procurement process - sourcing, purchasing, order tracking, and delivery coordination.
Manage supplier performance, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Identify new suppliers, monitor market trends, and source innovative products or materials.
Ensure timely placement of purchase orders and maintain supply-demand alignment.
Supervise and guide team members, providing training, direction, and performance feedback.
Maintain accurate records of orders, supplier details, and procurement documentation.
Analyze procurement data and prepare reports on cost, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Logistics) to meet business objectives.
Experience and Skills Required
Experience:
Minimum
5+ years of relevant experience
in procurement or supply chain management.
Proven track record in
team leadership
and supplier relationship management.
Skills:
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of
MS Office (especially Excel)
and
Google Sheets

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Exposure to international procurement (UK, EU, or Asia) is an added advantage.
Education:
