Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

Source raw materials, components, and services.

Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers.

Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

Monitor vendor performance

2. Inventory Management

Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production.

Implement inventory control techniques like JIT (Just-In-Time)

Ensure proper storage, handling, and tracking of materials.

Monitor stock levels and reorder points.

3. Production Planning & Coordination

Collaborate with the production team to forecast demand and plan material requirements.

Align supply chain activities with production schedules.

Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.

4. Logistics & Distribution

Manage inbound and outbound logistics.

Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.

Optimize routes, reduce transportation costs, and ensure on-time delivery.

5. Cost Control & Budgeting

Monitor supply chain expenses and work to reduce costs without compromising quality.

Prepare and manage budgets for supply chain operations.

6. Risk Management:

Identifying potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact

7. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and safety standards.

Maintain proper documentation for procurement, inventory, and shipping.

Support audits and reporting.

8. Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze supply chain performance using KPIs (e.g., OTIF, inventory turnover).

Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.

Generate regular reports for management review.

9. Team Coordination & Leadership

Lead and supervise warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams.

Provide training and guidance to the team to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Foster collaboration across departments (production, finance, sales).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
