We manufacture LED Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) fittings, Constant Current Regulators (CCRs), connectors, and series isolating transformers for runway ground lighting systems at our Delhi facility. We are looking for a hands-on Procurement & Sourcing professional with strong expertise in electronics, semiconductors, LEDs, optics, and precision mechanical components, capable of reducing component lead times, ensuring international quality compliance, and strengthening our supplier ecosystem. Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers for:
LEDs, optics, PCBs, drivers, power electronics, semiconductors
Connectors, cables, transformers, and precision mechanical components
Source components strictly as per BOMs, international standards (ICAO, IEC, FAA where applicable), and internal specifications.
Float RFQs, analyse techno-commercial offers, negotiate pricing, MOQ, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Identify short-lead-time and alternate suppliers to reduce dependency and improve production timelines.
Support new product development by sourcing cost-effective yet compliant components.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in line with approved BOMs and budgets.
Verify datasheets, certifications, test reports, and compliance documents before procurement.
Coordinate with R&D, Production, and Quality teams for component approval and change management.
Maintain complete procurement records, traceability, and audit-ready documentation.
Vendor Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance on quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
Resolve quality issues, delivery delays, and commercial disputes effectively.
Participate in supplier audits and capability assessments where required.
Inventory Planning & Logistics
Forecast material requirements based on production plans and project timelines.
Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Coordinate with logistics partners for timely deliveries and import clearances (if applicable).
Drive cost optimization without compromising reliability or certification compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
Strong understanding of:
Semiconductors, power electronics, LEDs, drivers, PCBs, optics
Mechanical components used in outdoor/industrial lighting systems
Proven experience in electronics procurement, BOM management, and vendor negotiation.
Working knowledge of ERP / SAP systems, MS Excel, and procurement documentation.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Qualifications
Experience in electronics manufacturing, LED lighting, PCB assembly, or power electronics industries.
Exposure to international standards and quality-driven manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and global supply chains.
