Job Description

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST



Role Overview - The Procurement specialist will support end-to-end IT procurement

activities, including vendor coordination, commercial validation, order lifecycle

management, and procurement reporting. The role requires strong experience in

infrastructure, security, and software procurement within multi-vendor and international

project environments.

Professional & Functional Responsibilities

BoQ & Commercial Validation



- Perform line-by-line BoQ validation (SKU/part numbers, quantities, pricing)

- Validate discount structures, extended pricing, and total cost reconciliation

- Review and validate Support, subscription, warranty, and SLA term validation

- Identification of gaps, duplications, substitutions, and non-compliant items

Vendor Coordination & Clarifications



- Manage Vendor clarifications, including (BAFO) support where applicable

- Confirm Lead time and delivery schedule with vendors.

- Validate licensing entitlement and support registration

PO Readiness & Documentation



- Preparation of PO-ready documentation packs

- Perform Final BoQ validation, including quote cross-referencing, commercial

terms and delivery milestones

Order Lifecycle Management



- Track order confirmation and shipment status

- Coordination of customs documentation (where applicable)

- Verification of serial number and entitlement

- Support Invoice, PO, and GRN matching processes

Tracking & Reporting



- Maintain of procurement trackers covering cost, lead time, risks, and actions

- Weekly procurement status reporting to project stakeholders

- Identify procurement risks and escalation of issues proactively

Solution & Project Delivery



- Prepare BoQ validation and reconciliation reports

- Maintain Vendor clarification logs and BAFO documentation

- Compile PO documentation packs

- Track delivery and entitlement artifacts

- Weekly procurement and status reports

Tools & Systems



- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (reconciliation, validation, tracking)

- Familiarity with vendor portals and quoting systems

- Exposure to ERP / procurement systems (preferred)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE



- Experience - Total Years of Experience (5-7 years in IT procurement for

infrastructure and security projects)

- Education - (Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent professional

experience)

- Experience in supporting international / multivendor IT projects

- Exposure to infrastructure, security, and software licensing procurement

- Customer-facing or project-based procurement experience

SOFT SKILLS



- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong coordination and follow-up skills

- Clear written and verbal communication

- Ability to work across time zones and international stakeholders

- Structured, deadline-driven working style

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ?500,000.00 per year
