Specialist will be responsible for managing Business Unit supplier requirements from identifying the vendor, performing sourcing activities, reviewing proposals, negotiating pricing and terms, and execution of the contract against company standards.

Responsibilities (job role and routine responsibilities of this position) :

• Liaises with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
• Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
• Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
• Manage issues and be the first point of contact for potential contract term disputes
• Identifies and researches potential new suppliers for new products and services, or for supplier replacement as need arises
• Researches new products and services to meet company\'s goals
• Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
• Performs RFx (RFP, RFI, etc.)
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
• Review supplier redlines of company standard terms and conditions to determine approvals required
• Ability to negotiate the terms and conditions with suppliers, along with negotiation of the supplier price point
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in \xe2\x80\x9creading\xe2\x80\x9d the market
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Talent in negotiations and networking

Education :

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Applied Science, Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), or a Related Field,

Experience : 5- 12 Years (Senior Level)

• Must Have (non-negotiable criteria required to perform the role) : Sourcing, Procurement, Negotiation Skills, Contract Review Skills .
