We're Hiring: Procurement Manager - Purchase Department

Location:

Chandigarhh

Experience:

2-3 years (Mandatory in Procurement/Purchase)

Preferred Industry Background:

Steel or Lighting Industries

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and procure materials like metals, alloys, fabrication materials & equipment Ensure all purchases meet technical & quality specifications Develop and maintain vendor relationships Issue accurate Purchase Orders (POs) as per requirements Get competitive quotations and perform cost analysis Follow up on Proforma Invoices (PIs) and documentation Negotiate with vendors and finalize procurement contracts Liaise with engineering, finance, logistics, and operations teams Monitor purchase orders based on indents Maintain procurement records and contracts Focus on timely delivery and cost-effective practices Stay updated with market trends and materials in metallurgy

Who Can Apply:

Professionals with 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchase

Candidates from Steel or Lighting industry will be preferred

Strong negotiation, communication & coordination skills
