A Snapshot of Your Day
Responsible and accountable for the Indirect purchasing and expediting which includes below responsibilities but not limited to, deliver on customer needs, conduct competitive bids, Identify cost reduction opportunities. Review and monitor purchase requisitions, manage supplier communication, understand market trends, deal with invoice discrepancies, Ensure compliance with strategic procurement.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop and implement a strategy to ensure the function is operating in line with the objectives of the business to add value, mitigate supply chain risk and deliver cost savings.
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to deliver continuous improvement in delivery of goods and services by the supply base.
• Overall responsibility of managing P2P cycle along with strategic expediting of key suppliers.
• Ensure that purchasing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets.
• Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.
• Negotiate contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards, and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriate.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance.
• Work closely with all cross functional teams for different requirement of Direct, Indirect and CAPEX purchasing

What You Bring

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent of experience industry or engineering environment with 9+ years of experience within function or industry.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in procurement process for Indirect purchases, CAPEX procurement, and contracts management.
• Global suppliers handling experience.
• Effectively able to participate and contribute to teams across globe and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Excellent communicator with and hands on experience and knowledge in SAP.
• Ability to take ownership, think independently and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to assess and prioritize for self and others, demonstrate flexibility and understand/communicate sense of urgency.
