What would you do? Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations. You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable. They are involved in the identification of need, finding and qualifying the suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results. Facilitates a non-contract purchase request which exceeds a pre-defined value threshold in order to achieve optimal pricing and value that meets a customer#s specifications and/or requirements.
What are we looking for? Requisition Processing: ? Pre-qualify request by determining quality and completeness of purchase request (PR) based on defined set of rules for complex requests ? Identify and source potential suppliers based on the requirements provided by Client. ? Obtain and analyze quote/pricing from preferred or contracted supplier and submit for approval ? Negotiate with the suppliers to obtain savings on high value requisitions ? Build & Maintain effective supplier relationships to get timely quotations, obtain savings / discounts ? Verify all required approvers are included in submission of requisition ? Create Purchase Orders (PO), PO amendments / deletions based on requests ? Attempt to resolve outstanding receipt-related issues / open order expediting ? Handling queries regarding Invoice / PO Mismatch ? Addressing the Helpdesk queries regarding PR to PO / PO amendments in a timely manner o To be accountable for maintaining quality and service standards to support the overall Accenture-Client(s) relationship and to deliver continuous improvement o Receive proposals from individual suppliers for goods or services. o Verify requisition is accurate and contains updated requirements and information per agreement. o Validate approvers and add new approvers if required. o Conduct Purchase Requisition quality check: For complex PR / complex categories check PR information against given templates to determine completeness and compliance of PR (PR and template in local language) o Meet savings target defined under Spot Buy projects o Support in other Accenture Operations areas : Operational Excellence, Maintaining Dashboards, Reporting o Maintain Client Data Protection standards o Quick learning & full usage of project specific tools and templates
Roles and Responsibilities: oIn this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems o Your day to day interactions are with peers within Accenture o You are likely to have some interaction with clients and/or Accenture management o You will be given minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments o Decisions that are made by you impact your own work and may impact the work of others o In this role you would be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team o Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
