Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services essential to the success of infrastructure projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that procurement activities align with project requirements, cost targets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute procurement strategies to support project goals and timelines. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors. Manage the end-to-end procurement process--from requisition to purchase order to delivery. Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company procurement standards. Collaborate closely with project teams, engineers, and the finance department. Maintain accurate procurement documentation and supplier performance records. Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in procurement within the infrastructure or construction sector. Sound knowledge of procurement regulations, materials sourcing, and vendor management. Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software tools. Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
