Job Title: Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for electrical, automation, and mechanical components, including vendor qualification and performance monitoring. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to optimize cost and maintain strong supplier relationships. Monitor and manage inventory levels, purchase orders, and procurement schedules to ensure uninterrupted production and project execution. Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to forecast material requirements and manage procurement budgets. Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and dashboards for management review. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement best practices, including vendor rationalization. Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and new technologies in industrial automation and electrical components.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration. MBA preferred. 7 - 12 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in industrial automation, electrical, or manufacturing sectors. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Knowledge of procurement processes, purchase orders, contracts, and inventory management systems. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar). Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
