Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead and manage

end-to-end procurement, supply chain, and warehouse operations

for multiple sports infrastructure construction sites, ensuring

cost efficiency, timely availability of materials, vendor compliance, and robust procurement processes

aligned with project execution timelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Purchasing

Plan, execute, and control

construction procurement

for sports infrastructure projects (civil, flooring systems, turf, lighting, equipment, accessories). Handle

centralized and site-based purchasing

for multiple running projects simultaneously. Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, finalize vendors, and issue POs. Ensure procurement aligns with

BOQs, drawings, and project schedules

. Monitor price trends and optimize procurement costs without compromising quality.
Supply Chain & Vendor Management

Develop and maintain a

reliable vendor base

for construction materials, sports surfaces, equipment, and consumables. Conduct vendor evaluations, audits, and performance reviews. Ensure timely material dispatch, logistics coordination, and on-time delivery to sites. Resolve supply chain disruptions, delays, and escalations proactively.
Warehouse & Inventory Management

Oversee

central warehouse and site warehouses

. Implement inventory control systems to track inward, outward, and stock levels. Prevent material shortages, over-stocking, pilferage, and wastage. Coordinate with site engineers for material planning and consumption tracking. Ensure proper storage standards for sports surfaces, adhesives, chemicals, and equipment.
Process & Compliance

Establish and strengthen

procurement SOPs, approval matrices, and documentation processes

. Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory norms, and audit requirements. Maintain accurate procurement MIS, reports, and cost trackers. Support internal and external audits related to procurement and inventory.
Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with

Project Managers, Site Engineers, Finance, and Stores teams

. Align procurement timelines with execution and installation schedules. Coordinate with finance for vendor payments, advances, and reconciliations.
Key Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in

construction procurement & SCM

Multi-site material planning and coordination Vendor negotiation and cost control Warehouse and inventory management Process orientation and SOP implementation ERP / Excel / MIS proficiency Strong coordination, follow-ups, and problem-solving skills
Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering / Supply Chain / Logistics / Business Management

(MBA preferred).

7-12 years

of experience in

construction procurement and SCM

. Mandatory experience handling

multiple project sites simultaneously

. Prior exposure to

warehouse operations

is essential. Experience in sports infrastructure, civil projects, interiors, or large-scale construction preferred.
