Job Responsibilities
:
Vendor Management
: Identify and establish relationships with new vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely procurement of materials.
Inventory Control
: Maintain optimal inventory levels, oversee stock management, and ensure the availability of materials required for ongoing projects.
Cost Optimization
: Implement strategies to minimize procurement costs while maintaining quality, and manage procurement budgets.
Compliance
: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Collaboration
: Work closely with design, project, and finance teams to forecast procurement needs, and align purchasing with project timelines.
Quality Control
: Ensure the materials purchased meet quality standards and specifications required by the company.
Reporting
: Prepare procurement reports, track performance metrics, and report on procurement budgets and timelines to management.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the interior design or construction industry.
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
Excellent understanding of sourcing and procurement techniques.
Proficient in MS Office and procurement software.
Ability to manage budgets and meet deadlines.
