Position Overview (Purpose and overview of the role in brief)

Key Responsibilities -

1. Strategic Sourcing:

a. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure cost savings

and supply chain efficiency.

b. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct negotiations, and establish

favorable terms and agreements.

2. Vendor Management:

a. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and

ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

b. Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for

improvement.

3. Cost Management:

a. Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed decisions that optimize costs

while maintaining quality standards.

b. Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising product or service

quality.

4. Compliance and Risk Management:

a. Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company

policies.

b. Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including potential disruptions and

changes in market conditions.

c. Lead negotiations and manage contracts, ensuring legal compliance.

5. Team Leadership:

a. Lead and motivate the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and results driven

environment.

b. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills

and capabilities.

6. Budget Management:

a. Develop and manage procurement budgets, tracking and reporting on spending to

ensure financial goals are met.

7. Continuous Improvement:

a. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to

enhance procurement efficiency.

b. Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in

procurement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
