We are currently searching for an ambitious and driven Procurement Manager to join our Team. This is an exciting time to join a growing organization!

The Role

The procurement Manager\xe2\x80\x99s core responsibility is to analyze the external spending, define the procurement plan and target savings, identify new qualified suppliers, develop and drive the RFQ process for several categories in parallel, recommend business awards, set up contracts, enable operational buying, and track consumption. The key measure of success for this role is annual savings/benefits delivered.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

• Develop a detailed spend baseline by collecting information available centrally and locally, including specifications, volume, unit cost / total cost of products/services currently purchased
• Define useful spend categories and develop a sourcing strategy (e.g. volume consolidation, standardization, direct sourcing from the Far East, insourcing, etc.) and sourcing wave plan (e.g. annual plan for sourcing of 12-15 categories in 3-4 waves, 3-4 months each)
• Maintain close working relationships with collaborators to understand their requirements and align on sourcing strategies
• Identify the list of potential suppliers via the Request for Information (RFI) process, desk research, and input from collaborators
• Confirm our requirements
• Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) brief and bid sheet (based on already developed templates)
• Launch RFQ, respond to suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 questions, collect quotations, prepare a required analysis of quotes and supplier bargaining
• Develop business award recommendations, estimated savings, and get agreement from collaborators, including Finance
• Track purchases and savings
• Review/agreeing contracts for categories in scope
• Work with the operational purchasing & logistics team on planning the demand, placing and paying for orders, and delivery of products to our offices
• Develop supplier scorecards and track vendor performance
• Handle and maintain relationships with vendors
• Coordinate with relevant collaborators to resolve vendor or policy issues
• Identify and drive continuous improvements in sourcing processes and reporting
• Help develop demand management policies

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• 8+ years of procurement experience and currently in a managerial role
• Experience in driving procurement work, with a track record of delivering savings
• Procurement (sourcing) expertise preferably gained with leading global consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing company
• Strong analytical skills; accept fact\xe2\x80\x90based decision-making; naturally seeks to leverage and/or integrate market data, spend analytics, and cost modeling
• Strong project management skills, including collaborator, timeline, and meeting leadership skills
• Ability to operate efficiently in a global organization and work optimally with collaborators based abroad
• Good communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal collaborators and external suppliers
• A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding, and proactive individual; able to empower him/herself and others; easily accepts constructive input from others
• Bias for action and track record of driving tangible impact
