Job description



1. Responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services for an organization

2. Identifying and sourcing potential suppliers and negotiating contracts

3. Managing the purchasing process, from requisition to delivery

4. Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely reordering of supplies

5. Conducting market research to stay informed of industry trends and best practices

6. Maintaining supplier relationships and resolving any issues that may arise

7. Ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations

8. Collaborating with other departments, such as finance and production, to meet the organization's needs

9. Preparing and tracking purchasing reports and budgets

10. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
